Earthship Ark
The Earthship Ark is a generation starship travelling from Earth Earth to a new home in the Tau Ceti system (specifically, the planet Tau Ceti e).
The Ark has millions of inhabitants in its biospheres, but it is controlled and maintained by automated systems. There is a ship’s crew, engineers, etc. in cryostasis who are only required at launch and planetfall or if something goes wrong.
There has been almost no travel or communication between biospheres for centuries (this is by design), and the inhabitants of some biospheres have even forgotten that they are on a starship.
Geography
Earthship Ark consists of the Central Hull, many Biospheres and Service Areas, and Transport Tubes which connect those parts.
The overall length of the ship is 320 km.
Fauna & Flora
The Ark's Biospheres contain environments hosting a variety of ecologies transplanted from Earth. Some biospheres contain only wilderness, others are inhabited by humans.
