Whilst researching arcana and the infusion of magic with metal I discovered a lost legend.
A flying machine shaped like a ship.
I will do anything to construct such a device. I will craft the perfect means of transportation. It will be able to carry an entire workshop.
I have tracked a man named 'Saleos' accross history. I believe he may have killed the man who came close to inventing such a machine.
I will locate him and question him on the subject.
Last I heard he racked up a debt at the Rachet's bounty hunters guild.
I will create some plate armour and fund an expedition to find him

Personal history
Rox worked at Shrapanals beard in Feakrith but had large ambitions, his dream was to build the first-ever airship. His investigation into potential plans lead him to join the wererat investigation bureau, where he was immediately sucked into helping them defeat the Devil Uprising of Feakrith. After receiving a medal of Heroism he stuck with the party as they ventured throughout the realm solving problems.
Rox was instrumental in providing canons and fortifications to the northern men to defend against giants rumour also has it that he provided firearm schematics to the pirates. Rox was the only Bureau member open to interaction with the Illioss Clergy making friends with the Mage of Zriegast Isaac Rox relocated his family to the city in hopes that it would keep them safe during the upcoming danger. His alliance with the Clergy did bring to question his loyalty to the party but didn't break their trust in him completely.
Rox was able to innovate magical prosthetics after he had a freak Aligator accident in the sewers these inventions grew his guild's notoriety and eventually gained them worldwide exports.
While on a solo excursion Rox was Kidnapped by the lizardfolk of his home tribe forcing the party to Kill the Ancient black Dragon that was controlling the lizardfolk. The result of this battle had Rox turn into a Half-Black dragon for a large period of time. This affliction slowly warped Rox's personality over time until the party were able to cure him in Akadance, though he still suffered some lingering side effects.
After the final push, Rox assumed control of Zriegast regulating the export and use of Xinx crystal. After seeing the destruction the crystals brought to Malon's homeworld he knew that they had to be careful with the new resource that was abundant in their realm.
Rox became a big consultant to the rest of the realm after his war efforts many nations look to his designs and advice to make their lives more easier. Rox is more than happy to oblige as long as fair business prices are paid for his services.
15 years later Zriegast redeveloped back into a settlement though it was never Rox's intention to be a leader of Zriegast the position was forced on him as it was the only way he could maintain control of the use of Xinx Crystals.
