Trevor(Formerly) Neurion The Mogg (a.k.a. Raidie Izhard, Inspector Robert Kane, Stevil Underbelly, Count Von Zeppelin, Herschel Shalombaum, Bones, Bon Jovi/ Bono ,)
The Lead Founder and Bard? of the Wererat Investigation Bureau. Not too much is known about him mostly because accounts of his backstory have little to no consistency. He has been cited as one of the most powerful casters of the realm. The true limit of his magical capabilities has never been categorized. His current locations is impossible to pin down but some that reside in Feakrith state that he can appear there from time to time.
Growing up in the village of Cendriane in the Fey Wild Neurion was raised by his mentor Meldarion the Bow'ie. Neurion and Meldarion would venture fourth to the material world dawning disguises to trick, entertain or just settle idle curiosity every 50 years. During one of these times Meldarion gifted Neurion with a set of bagpipes inspiring him down the path of music. One day Neurion; on his 420th birthday decided to venture to the material plane without his mentors knowledge to get his own experience.
Using Magic greatly damages Neurion after he cast 4 wishes in the battle for Zriegast
The Largest quiff known to the realm which he argues is not a wig
Legendary Bagpipes (that he has yet to use)
Gabriels Fate (a rapier that turns him into a mighty fighter)
Neurions stumbled into the realm seemingly by accident, though wherever he has gone he has made a lasting impression.
His first act was to swindle an Innkeeper, however, some might say his presence alone is what brought the WIB together as he was the talk of the town.
He was the strong driving force of the WIB in their earlier days acting as their faceman and often providing inconsistent names for the group.
Eventually, the branding of the Wererat Investigation Bureau stuck when they saved the town of Crogra from a Wererat uprising. During this time Neurion showed his selfless nature in making a deal with a chain devil to spare the lives of a bunch of innocent dock workers. after this and accidentally getting a baker killed while investigating a drug problem Neurion learnt to have more consideration for the consequences of his actions, this came to light when he obtained a Bagsher relic and choose to lock it away despite his parties recommendation to use it to their advantage.
This deal would come back to bite neurion as it weakened him before a large-scale devil invasion of Feakrith but despite that, he still continued to try and save the city. Showcasing that Neurion was always willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
After being declared heroes of the kingdom for saving Feakrith, Neurion introduced the party to his mentor Meldarion putting greater context into neurions personality and flaws. Despite his outward demeanour and carefree act losing Sofield to the Clergy seemed to awaken a wrathful side to Neurion; as he began setting the fall of the clergy into motion whenever he got the chance.
As the Praty began to form more alliances Neurions darker characteristics began to show more throughout their journeys, he when from nearly tricking people to warping their minds or changing their memories to fit his narrative. This did instil unease in the party as they realise how much control Neurion had over everyone and that he was becoming more and more irrational with each battle they fought.
Eventually, the Group had to make their way to Zriegast, but Neuirion noticed his friends had had a lot of character growth and worried that they would not want to destroy the clergy as much as he did. So he began to alter their minds in an attempt to fuel their rage. The party confronted him about the schemes and warned him not to mess with their minds further Neurion honoured their wishes though his vendetta was still strong.
When they breached Zriegast Neurion called Meteors down to kill over 100s of guards, which shook him to his core, eventually, they were baited to Father Gabriel where a dangerous battle ensued and Neurion struck the killing blow on Gabriel, The victory was short-lived, however. As it turned out an Allie that had been with them for a while was in fact Malon Bagsher and he used them to jump-start a death battle with the good, Neurions mentor gave his life to save Neurion and his party and get them out safely.
Neurion now had to face how he had let vengeance consume him and it had cost him his only father figure. His mental state began to break down when the last two years of his life began to dawn on him. His party were able to help him through the grieving process and he was focused on stopping Malon and repenting for his mistakes. Before the united army made a move on Zriegast Neurion delivered a speech highlighting how important everyone else was and that he wasn't the centre point of this event; a big character growth moment for him as for once everything was not about him.
After the United army's push and Bagshers Defeat Neurion was never quite the same. The effects of the battle left his magic unreliable and his life force greatly drained. He however took on a disciple of his own and the two of them went around setting up challenges for novice adventures to defeat. To an outsider's eye, it may look like Neurion is repeating the cycle he had with his mentor. In reality, Neurion knew more threats would come and he wanted to guide those to not make the same mistakes as he did.
