Tier III - W
|
The largest street gang in New City, the Butcher Boys have ruled the Back of the Yards for over a decade through muscle, grit, and the weight of tradition. But their grip is slipping. With Danny behind bars and rivals circling, the old order is breaking down—and every soldier smells blood in the rails and mutiny in the smoke.

"Don’t talk. Don’t flinch. Don’t run."
The Boys, Butchers, Yardsmen – Butcher Boys, Hangers
Turf
Archer Street Railyard (HQ) – A fenced-off freight yard crisscrossed by rusting tracks, stripped engines, and makeshift watch posts. The gang moves cargo, hides bodies, and meets under the old switching tower.
Notable Assets
Contact deep in the Ashland Railyard who redirects cargo or stashes “off-books” containers
Underground fighting promotion with rigged cards and real blood
Weekly gambling nights run through Minnow’s and the gym
Well-established extortion ring covering dozens of Southside businesses
Quirks
Many members come from old stockyard families and wear old packinghouse ID tags as charms
Their bruisers train using meat hooks and broken crates for practice
Initiates are often made to fight in the cold storage locker behind McKunty’s with “just your hands and your breath”
Situation
Danny, the long-reigning leader, just began serving a 10-year stretch. From prison, he still believes he runs things—but reality is cracking. His right hand, Steve “Ox” Nowak, has the muscle. Kenny “Red” Mansfield has the mouth and the ambition. Both have loyalists. Both want the throne.
Meanwhile, the Bulls are rising, the Fear Crew is encroaching, and the Outfit is watching. If the Butcher Boys fall, the whole balance of Back of the Yards changes.
