Tier II - W
|
A tight-knit railyard crew that runs light, fast, and under the radar, the Five Fives have carved out a niche others overlooked—and they aim to keep it that way. Born from the bones of switchmen, brakemen, and grease-stained hustlers, they know the tracks better than most crews know their own neighborhoods. Every tunnel, siding, and schedule is a tool in their belt. They don’t hold turf with muscle—they move through it like smoke.

“No noise. No trail. No witnesses.”
The Yard Ghosts, Rail Rats
Greta Raines – smuggler and logistics runner, former switchboard girl, talks fast, drives faster
“Junior” Webb (tunnel scout) – youngest, boldest, knows every tunnel and crawlspace within a mile of the yard
Del “Clockface” Monroe (gearhead/saboteur) – modifies train gear and rigged clocks for heists
Abandoned Roundhouse (HQ) – A rust-bitten shell of a rail repair loop that still hums with secrets. Planning spot, stash house, and occasional ritual pit.
55th Street Railyard – The Five Fives know every track, switch, and blind corner. It’s their kingdom—at least at night.
Notable Assets
Full access to 55th St. Railyard: sidings, switches, schedules
Ties to Jimmy O.—keeps political ripples from becoming waves
Fleet of modified handcarts, rail trucks, and rigs for fast cargo runs
Quirks
Two members worked the yard legit—can hijack a boxcar blindfolded
Crew uses hobo code graffiti for signals and marks
Name comes from a Prohibition-era five-man switch team that once ran the yard
Situation
The Five Fives are quiet but poised. Their low profile and strong alliance with BCN have kept them safe and rich—but that’s changing. With New City destabilizing and Joe Bagels keeping heat off the yard, the Five Fives are considering expansion into Ashland. But more turf means more eyes. And sooner or later, someone’s gonna try to knock the quiet kids off the rails.
