Npcs

Ray “Pick” Szymanski (leader) - Wiry, squint-eyed, always smells like dirt and whiskey. Obsessed with “honest salvage” and believes every object still carries memory.
Martha Bones (lieutenant) – Broad-shouldered, blank stare, collects Veil debris in cigar boxes and speaks to dead children like they’re pen pals.
Joey “Sparkplug” – Skinny, grease-smudged, sleep-deprived. Handles weird tech and short circuits things both mechanical and magical.

Turf

Stearns Lot (HQ) – A fenced-in zone of busted metal and gnawed bone near Stearns Quarry’s ruins.
32nd Street Underpass – An old tunnel lined with Veil-scrawls. Used for rituals, ghost traps, and ambush routes.
Cicero’s Junk Haul Access – A forgotten alley easement with eyes. Said to be "watched" by something only the Bonepickers feed.

Notable Assets

A cache of Veil-touched artifacts and junk: twitching bones, lightless lamps, and haunted rosaries.
Map of Bridgeport’s oldest burials and long-lost parish catacombs.
Discreet reputation with Veil-sensitive gangs and spiritualist freelancers.

Quirks

Will not handle cash; all trades are barter-based and “honor-weighted.”
Leave bundles of bones wrapped in red twine to claim territory or leave warnings.
Host weekly “bone readings” in the back of Cicero’s—part rumor mill, part divination.

Situation

Nobody respects the Bonepickers until they need them. As bigger crews like ICB and the Fear Crew tighten their grip, Ray’s trying to offer something they can’t muscle: secrets, supernatural salvage, and neutral ground. But Bridgeport’s got its own ghosts—and some of them remember the quarry differently. If the Bonepickers can keep just one step ahead of the shovel, they’ll sell your enemy’s future to you in pieces.
