It has been approximately 50 years since the events of Typhon's Heresy. Five heroes rose up amongst the civilization of the Dawn City to take the fight to the Betrayer god. They were joined alongside the allies they had forged bonds with on their journey, and the city that they learned to love. They have all since become legends in their city, and their names are now inscribed in the pages of history books. Maybe even some of you have heard of their escapades.
But those stories have ended, and new stories will continue to be told. And despite your blissful ignorance of the following fact, the story that you are all about to tell will be another story of legends and heroes. As a child, maybe you were taught to revere these stories, but now you will live one.
In the world of Cynthia, there are endless possibilities abound, each possibility a bedrock to build your legacy upon. Where you choose to go is entirely up to you. You could investigate the rumors of the new city just off the coast of the Shattered Lands; slay the mighty hoard dragon, Pleonexo; liberate the people of Tyr on the island of Holiday; or choose your own ambitions to whatever fantastical lands it would take you.
