Session 9: Back on Track

After a tense vote over what the party would do next with the impending Dominion problem, they decide not to wish their problems away out of an unrelenting distrust for the Jade Monkey. Instead, the party decides that taking on Dominion at their current prowess wouldn't be smart, so they venture off to the Shattered Lands to deal with one of the Jade Monkey's plot hooks.
Traveling into the United Nation of Hope, they are instantly met with hostility. A military official orders the party's airship to immediately identify themselves and come in for questioning. They follow orders, though a little sassy, until the commanding officer moves to apprehend them after they push too hard to talk to the former king.
The commander and his unit are swiftly dispatched, but not after showing ruthless aggression to the child in the party, using him as leverage to try and get everyone else to surrender. The king asks the party to spare the life of his commander, and they ablige.
This leads to a heavy conversation with King Phillip White of the United Nation of Hope, and the party now plans on bringing the three factions of the Shattered Lands together, under one banner.
