Burgoda City? A recipe for disaster, I say! Those who dare seek its treasures often end up as ingredients in some nightmarish dish.
— Bonnie "Ma" Appetit, Culinarian Explorer

Burgoda City is an subterranean metropolis concealed beneath the seemingly innocent Burgoda building on the surface of Culinaria. Hidden from the world above, this abandoned realm has captivated adventurers, historians, and culinary enthusiasts alike for centuries. It remains shrouded in mystery, its origins lost in the annals of time.
The entrance to the city lies within the Burgoda building, accessible only to those who hold the key. The mechanisms that reveal the passage down into the depths of the city are rumored to be imbued with ancient magic, granting access to the chosen few.
Burgoda City boasts a sprawling landscape, crafted with the architectural finesse of masterful artisans. Food stalls, bistros, and culinary workshops line the bustling streets, welcoming travelers with the alluring scents of exotic delicacies.

History

According to the ancient texts of Culinaria, the city was founded by a revered group of culinary masters known as the Flavor Forgers. These culinary pioneers were drawn together by a shared vision of harmonizing flavor, magic, and culinary artistry. Guided by their ingenuity, they erected the city beneath the Burgoda building, a humble entryway serving as a hidden gateway into the culinary underground.   For centuries, Burgoda City flourished in secrecy, becoming a sanctuary for culinary artisans, alchemists, and intellectuals from all corners of Culinaria. The city's design mirrored the grace of a pagoda, with majestic towers and intricate carvings gracing its structures.   The harmony of Burgoda City was destined to face a profound test. An ancient Cinderscale Dragon named Gnashgullet, attempting to exert control over the Burger Plains, unleashed chaos and destruction upon the land. Upon realizing the dragon couldn't be destroyed, The Burgermeister and his guardians succeeded in banishing Gnashgullet into the depths of Burgoda City. Yet, the victory came at a cost, as Burgoda City fell into decline within Gnashgullet's rage, its population scattered, and its once-vibrant halls echoing with the dragon's furious roars.   In the present day, Burgoda City remains a captivating but dangerous place, a forgotten testament to culinary history. Legends and rumors of the city's untold wonders continue to draw adventurers, but few return to tell their tale.
Beneath the crumbling ruins of Burgoda City lie a myriad of creatures, long-forgotten by time and infused with culinary enchantments gone awry. Brave adventurers be warned, for within these depths, the line between food and foe blurs, and every bite may prove deadly.

Origin Location: Burger Plains
Type: Labyrinthine Underground City

Entrance: Concealed Entrance within the Burgoda

Legend speaks of Burgoda City's founding by an ancient society of skilled culinary alchemists, devoted to unlocking the secrets of flavor and magic. Stories tell of a mythical relic, the Burgermeister's Cookbook, believed to grant boundless culinary prowess to its possessor, hidden deep within the city's heart. Yet, whether the Burgermeister's Cookbook is a figment of stories or a tantalizing reality remains a topic of endless debate among scholars.

Giant sugar hamster ball tours of Burgoda City, sounds like a blast! xD Actually, if they were made from the material I'm currently writing about (rock candy created by sugar coral pollen that falls from giant flying whales. I may be going off the rails hahahah [off the whales?]), that might actually work... bwahahahah.

I think I may have solved the problem for people who aren't able to cook in Culinaria: a burnt class of careers xD Idk about you, but when I roast marshmallows over the fire I think to torch them completely. Burning and overcooking needs to have its own school of magic! "So, you think you're bad at cooking? Wait until you meet the Dean of Scorched Academy..." ahahahahah
