The Boedilian Empire has reigned for over 600 years, always growing, always gaining strength.
Structure
The head of state is a King and his Royal Family. Barons and Mayors control the smaller settlements. Law and order is kept by (in descending order of power) Royal Inquisitor, Judges, Constables, Captains, Royal Guards, and City Guards.
Assets
They are among the most wealthy and powerful kingdoms on Cremona. They control several strongholds including Strathmore Keep, Boedilaire City, Maramir Keep, and of course Castle Velsia.
History
The Empire was formed 616 years ago when Boedilaire Kaiser and his army of 135 warriors took over the primitive town of Focaisi and made it the seat of his domain. He claimed to all that he was mandated by the gods to become the ruler of the land, and named himself King, and changed the name of Focaisi to Boedilair.
His son, Panolian, was made king upon his death, and began to spread the Empire westward by taking over more land from the Jadini people who called the north shore of the Coriana Gulf.
King Tawley, the 5th king of the Boedilian Empire, succeeded in taking the Jadini tribe's largest settlement, and invited his people to come and build a new city there. He called the new city Velsia, after the Goddess of Love.
