Boedilaire Kaiser was born in a nomadic cremonian tribe from the Glowering Highlands. As he grew, he became a skilled fighter and a natural leader. He started to lead the martial wing of the tribe, training younger members, and becoming revered in the tribe.
One night, Boedilaire claims he was visited in a dream by Murdu, King of the Gods, and was given a vision of himself as king ruling over the town of Focaisi, a large settlement to the west of their current location. He awoke the next morning with a divine mandate to conquer Focaisi and found an empire that would eventually control the world. He shared this with his soldier peers, and they began preparing for war.
The resulting battle was raw and brutal, and the people of Focaisi were taken completely by surprise at sunrise by Boedilaire's forces. Guards slaughtered, defenses burned, and the town fell to the invading army. This was considered the foundation of the Boedilian Empire, with Boediliaire Kaiser naming himself King, sanctioned by the gods.
His empire flourished and grew under his rule, and he was known as a righteous and beloved king. He lived for almost another forty years, until the sad night when he went to sleep and never awakened.
