NielCorp
This is an umbrella company that controlled many much smaller but still massive companies started by Robert Niel and his wife, Sandra Niel, in 2043. It was by far the largest of the megacorporations that fought for the UHN against the CHG and was one of those seized by the CHG to be a part of CHG Incorporated.
It sold pretty much everything but one of its far more interesting features was its lack of stock holders. Normally, a company gets outside investments which are made up for with portions of the revenue or profit but this had none of that. The Niel couple

This lack of shareholders meant that the Niels could operate how they wished and take massive but rewarding risks in their business, which initially sold dental products, health products and made literally hundreds of pornographic movies of themselves as a means of making money before starting the business and, due to this, didn't need any investors

, but would move into more things with time like clothing, food and space ships.
Later on, with the revival of the internet, they used Patreon, GoFundMe and so on with many fake stories as a means of gaining further revenue, making hundreds of accounts on the platforms each - as well as making their own giving-people-money-for-nothing-or-little-in-return websites such as PleaseFundMe and FundMeOrElse.
With all this revenue coming in, they moved into buying shops that had only just started up at low prices from owners who thought they were getting a good deal, hiring the previous owners as managers and having the managers get 50% of the profit while convincing them the business wouldn't've succeeded without the fact that they spent an equivalent to £10 convincing children to vandalize places with advertisements for the locations. Meanwhile the managers, even if they saw through this, had plenty of incentive to make the business a success in the form of getting 50% of the profit.
Messing with stonks, con-artistry and so on later NielCorp was massive by the time Humanity War 4 begun. They illegally secretly sent in teams to check locations for valuable resources and then bought those locations if any such resources were present.
The showing up of the UHN on the scene led to NielCorp taking a big but rewarding risk by trying out a thing called piracy. It was simple: attack ships full of weapons, take the weapons, sell the weapons, flip a coin twice and, if they got 2 heads, attack the very individuals they sold weapons to in order to sell the weapons again. Every time NielCorp did this, they changed their banners and the external appearances of their ships in order to avoid suspicion. Then they helped the UHN come to rule humanity by focusing their efforts on the enemy nations of the UHN.
Nice. The UHN decided to reward them with tax breaks and the turning of blind eyes towards illegal practices as NielCorp grew and grew and grew, buying out other businesses and so on. There was an attempt to split the company when the inheritors of the company were identical twins, but this attempt ended with one of the twins moving to the center of the UHN with equivalent to £10,000,000 and a single eye still in its socket.
This was the true age of megacorporations: the same rules applied everywhere, loopholes were in constant supply, taxes were low, piracy by actual pirates had been more-or-less crushed and the existence of Contract Slavery simply made things so easy. NielCorp was free to engage in unofficial wars with other corporations, corporate colonies and so in in order to buy chunks of them at very low prices. Sure, there was a rebellion and the government was falling apart due to corruption that NielCorp was actively taking advantage of and even sowing the seeds for, but profit.
But all that changed when the CHG attacked and the The CHG-UHN War, despite the best efforts of NielCorp and many other megacorporations by flinging tonnes of mercenaries and contract slaves at the CHG's forces, ended in the UHN being dissolved.
NielCorp, when informed of how it would be made a part of CHG Incorporated, attempted to fight back but was, once again, crushed. The majority of family members and friends who'd ruled the business fled into The LIR or League of Intelligent Races and were welcomed as enemies of the current human regime, making sure to spend as many of the company's resources as possible on the way out while making future problems for the CHG by shooting tonnes of colony seeds beyond certain space, some of which became nations the CHG would later peacefully absorb or violently conquer.
Even so, NielCorp's remains were a significant part of CHG Incorporated and its unfair employment practices are echoed in the current way most of the government-corporation operates. Truly, a legacy to be proud of.general sexual products
