Syntrofius Mountains
The Syntrofius Mountain range is located North of Vostrum and the The Perassic Sea, but to the South-East of Poros.
The mountains are known mostly for the major mining settlement of Segestica, which is the birthplace and holy site of the Saint Syntrofius, Saint of Wine, Love, and Friendship. The mountains themselves are fairly desolate and uninhabited, however the Southern edge of the range has a series of large deposits of Iron, Copper, and other valuable minerals, which have precipitated the creation of numerous mining settlements centered around Segestica.
The Mountains have also long been suspected of being a breeding ground for Goblins, Hobgoblins, and other monsters, and as such has been thoroughly patrolled by the Monster hunter orders, especially the Order Immanus. As such, the mountains have also been the origin point of a number of sects and cells of the The Brotherhood of the Bad Moon cult, requiring the interventions of the Order Malleus, due to it's close proximity to major imperial population centers.
