Order Malleus

The Order Malleus was the first monster hunter order, and specializes in rooting out and slaying daemons and other fiends from The Shadowfell. Their founder, Tyrion Sorlander, was blessed by Saint Alesia herself, and charged to found the order. Since them they have heavily specialized into the killing of fiends, and other similarly sized humanoid creatures such as werewolves.
The Order Malleus is the only order which may not be looked so highly upon if a member enters a town or city, as their arrival often heralds an inquisition of sorts, as a daemonic cult must be rooted out from the populace. Their methods can be harsh in discovering daemonic cults, but cities and nations often grant them permission to conduct such activities, as the consequences of NOT removing a daemon cult could be much worse.
The Order Malleus has their headquarters on Mt. Aethelstan itself, in a high mountain fortress called Heaven's Reach
