Saint of Fates, Doorways, Dualities, and New Beginnings
Yanius is the Saint of Fates, Doorways, dualities, and new beginnings. Yanius was once the most trusted confidant of St. Aethelstan. His job was to challenge his master in all ways, to keep him humble, to remind him of what it was like to be human and vulnerbale. In this way, he reminded the Saint of the dualitiy of his nature. eventually, Yanius became the confidant of many Saints, reminding them of their unbderlying humanity, keeping them honest to themselves, and making clear to the the choices laid before them.
Godric noticed this service to his children and mad Yanius the Saint of duality, of humility, of new beginnings, and of the doorways representing fates.
It is said that when a person is presented with a life-defining choice, that Yanius will appear and present two doors. When you pass through one of his doors, your choice will be made, and you will have to live with it. But Yanius is ever the advisor, and he will inform you of you choices, give you a clear idea of your choice before you make it.
Yanius sits back contented after each choice, knowing that he did what he could, and left the people in control of their own destiny.
