"If you want to run, run a mile. If you want to experience a different life, run a marathon."
Emil Zatopek, Czechoslovak long-distance runner and Olympic champion -
This March seems to have been a very productive month for many Anvils. Perhaps it was due to
Demongrey's 31-day challenge, or the two culinary challenges from
Leijona and
Imagica, or the third edition of
Stormbril's Marchitecture? Whatever the reason, my inbox saw a ton of new articles written, cooking, and building, and I also tried to actively participate in the challenges.
In the end, there were at least 12 new entries and I am thinking about writing at least one such entry a day in the future before I continue with my other work to let my Elaqitanian Brockhaus grow.
Additionally, my Brictaelgian goblins can enjoy a delicious dessert, the sight of which will truly make your mouth water. I wouldn't be sorry if you broke Lent with this sweet treat. If that still hasn't satisfied you and you'd like to know what the fairy elves of the Air Continent have to offer, then stop by their kitchen. You can also breathe a sigh of relief, because there won't be just cotton candy ;).
I actually didn't want to participate in Marchitecture this year. In the end, I brought a very important building to life with two of my own sketches. It could also become a setting in a novel, as it's where the power of the elements is politically controlled.
Feeling really honored that Vaelora impressed you enough as to be mentioned in this article. And who knows if you will not even win bronze, silver or gold for your dessert? We will see by the end of the month.
It was a pleasure and I sincerely hope that I can persuade you to write more about the islands ;).
