Human

Humans were the original inhabitants of Binaka. They were formed by the gods to inhabit and own the world. In the First Age, they wielded powerful magic, eventually coming to compete with the gods themselves. After the God War, magic was stripped from the humans. For the Second Age they developed technology along lines similar to our own on Earth. But they were unable to prevent a brief but devastating nuclear war that nearly destroyed all life on the planet. However, at the last moment the gods intervened. This lead to the Third Age, wherein humans themselves created a multitude of species through the use of bioengineering. Then it was gone in days with the spread of a virus aimed to destroy all intelligent (human-derived) life. Once again the gods stepped in, saving a portion of said intelligent life and modifying the virus to bring magic back to humans and their kin, leading to the Fourth Age.
