Balatano Palinni, of the Church of St ArenadoRenelestre is the capital city of Parensatia, and as of this writing stands as the center for trade and commerce throughout the known world. It is thought by many to be the greatest city in the world, and houses some of the greatest architecture, works of art, universities, shipyards, cathedrals, and fortifications ever seen on Balliston.

Margrave Gustano, The Perilous BalanceRenelestre is the capital city of Parensatia, and as such holds the seat of power that governs the entirety of the prosperous coastal principality. Normally this seat is held by the Prince of a Thousand Sails (with advice by his privy council), though the Throne of Ivory has been vacant ever since Prince Victor Amadeus IV died unexpectedly--and without any heirs.

Guilds and Factions
The city houses many, many factions from major to minor lords and the trade guilds which have had a growing place of power in the city over the last century or so. When it comes to major factions however, one can boil down the high level power of the city down to those who are directly represented on the prince's privy council. Those noble families who preside on the privy council are as follows: House Valvetti, House Salveto, House Dalmas, and House Marzarius. This is offset by three guilds who are also represented on the council: The Stamp, The Spool, and The Form.
