Unsterbon

Purpose / Function

Created as the seat of power for the Empire of Embrith, Unsterbon continues to serve this purpose. As the residence for the Emperor and the imperial family as well as the location where all decisions, domestic or otherwise, for the Empire are conducted occurs within the walls of Unsterbon. Also, since the introduction of the Galas of Saros, Unsterbon has become the location for one of the international events that takes place yearly.

Alterations

As the empire continued to expand, so did Unsterbon. Various additions, improvements, and renovations have occurred over the years to the original building and its design. Some of the more recent alterations include the addition of two large towers, reconstruction of one of the grand halls, as well as small improvements to the defenses of the building.

Architecture

Large in both width and height, Unsterbon is an entirely different contrast to all of Alimmar. Large walls with equally large windows giving light to the immense interior of the castle. The second floor seems to recede inward from the outer edge but is replace with elegantly cared parapets creating a massive balcony that surrounds a majority of the building. Eventually rising to steepled roofs along the exterior with flags adorning the peaks with the crest of the imperial family and Empire. Within the exterior walls and buildings of the Imperial Palace, even larger buildings can be seen from the outside going even further up into the sky with more grandiose designs. Two large towers can are seen looming over the back left and right of the main buildings that rise above all else in the city, each with a massive flag of each crest.
