Diplomatic actionThe dwarves of Karak Lok were seeking to end hostilities with the elves of Annotii.
An envoy was sent with gold, gems and jewellery. The elven King appreciated the gift and came back with the envoy to talk and eventually sign the peace agreement in the dwarven King's palace. Upon his return, the elven King ordered the raids and attacks on the dwarven lands to cease at once and the dwarven King ordered a stop to the retaliatory attacks.

The dwarves sacrificed their rune magic to form the seal, though if rune magic is ever used again to cast a spell, the seal would be broken.

The Revenge of Karak Lok
Military actionAfter recovering from the attack, the dwarves of Karak Lok were focusing everything on rebuilding their army, even recruiting mercenaries from other dwarven territories to fill their ranks.
Even though they have been weakened, so were the elves of Annotii. The dwarves gathered an army that was armed to the teeth, wearing heavy armour and powerful weapons. As soon as it was ready, the army was sent to the east to attack Annotii.

It is a black powder that when ignited burns extremely quickly, when packed into a tight space such as a metal tube it releases large amounts of energy quickly enough to fire projectiles or if packed into a sealed container it can be used to create an explosion. This powder has military and industrial uses. Due to its volatile nature, in normal dwarf fashion it had to be tested for a few centuries before it was approved for use.

The Burning of Kazad Azul
Disaster / DestructionOn 4th of April in the year 1005, an ancient red dragon by the name of Lugalathar has attacked Kazad Azul. Its defenders bravely fought to defend their homes but the huge dragon's scales were impenetrable against the weapons that were used against it, combined with its ability to cast magic spells it proved too powerful. The dragon broke through the gate and burned both soldiers, civilians and buildings with its fire breath. It located the large vault, broke into it and made it its sleeping chamber, having turned the city into its new lair.
