The world of Aurasong. Created by the three gods
Innos,
Adanos and
Beliar.
Aurasong holds many secrets and is home to civilized races such as the enterprising
Humans, the wise
Elves, the steadfast
Dwarves, the powerful
Orcs and the kind hearted
Halfings; as well as many different animals and monsters above and below the surface.
Magic is rare and is usually reserved for the religious orders such as
the Paladin order of Innos or
the Circle of Innos.
There are a few that have learned magic from old artifacts, books or a master wizard/sorcerer.
The people of the world have carved out a living in the harsh world of Aurasong but there are always dark forces lurking around every corner waiting to strike.
Adventurers are often living in a fairy-tale world in their heads after hearing stories of successful adventurers that became heroes through luck and help from influential people they met. So they often have a hard time accepting that they are not special, the chosen one or a once in a millennia hero ushering in a new era.
Those that persevere and are smart enough to get their heads out of the clouds realise their goal is solely to survive and make enough money to retire in comfort in this harsh and hostile world.
