Life, Death
Varinor-Kenui, through great effort was finally able to be destroyed for good on the 7th of August of 1005. Though its source of power remained; it turned into a jagged dagger made of a red metal, this dagger gained a corruptive aura that promises great power to anyone wielding it.
Varinor-Kenui was burning down large swathes of forest for weeks before getting close to Harvoiendri. Annotii's best arch-mages stopped it from getting close enough to damage the city, however Varinor-Kenui proved too powerful to destroy. The arch-mages kept it contained for weeks before the one of the original arch-mages called Guinglanid, that contained the fire demon those thousands of years ago appeared from out of exile with his grand-nephew Alachanar. They found and learned a powerful spell that can destroy the fire demon for good, this achievement was only made thanks to the dwarven adventurers Fig, Skai, Grilag and Rue who secretly housed them in Fig's clan house in Kazad Kol while they studied the ancient texts together with King Aderthion Morfess who at the time was being kept as a prisoner there. Varinor-Kenui, through great effort was finally able to be destroyed for good on the 7th of August of 1005. Though its source of power remained; it turned into a jagged dagger made of a red metal, this dagger gained its corruptive aura that it did when Varinor-Kenui was once banished. This dagger was quickly wrapped in a magic cloth with protective runes and taken into an ancient and abandoned crypt so that none maybe be seduced by its promise of power or affected by its corruptive aura.
