The King of Svimalin.
He has been running Svimalin for over a hundred years, having taken over the kingdom after his father's death in 903 which was caused by an elven ambush. He is a mountain dwarf with a short fuse but is steadfast and honourable in his dealings. He has a hatred for elves, never having found out who orchestrated the ambush on his father and being on the receiving end of constant attacks from the elven nations to the east of his lands, a searing hatred has festered in him.
When he took to the throne he vowed that every grudge in the Book of Grudges/Dammaz Kron would be avenged. He has a wife called Sigrun, a daughter called Nomi who is the heir to his throne and two sons called Okri and Dwalin.
