Zann Pelleon's Journal

Throughout his life, the famed New Terran Republic explorer kept a long electronic journal kept that detailed his travels across the stars. After his death, the journal was kept secret by his family for many years, before eventually being offered to the Horizon Intersteller History Museum. The physical device used to carry the journal has a long history.
It was kept in the museum for many centuries and was by the time of the 1st Galactical War the only remaining copy of the original journal. During the war between the New Terran Republic and the 1st Empire of Jerace Horizon came under threat. The original copy was transported off-world, while a replacement copy was put in the original's place. During Jerace's attack on Horizon, the replacement was intentionally destroyed, confirming that fears of the original's destruction had been justified. 
The original was kept secret, constantly travelling throughout the galaxy, with fear of Jerace fueling its constant movement. It eventually found itself on Anfieden, where it would remain for the majority of the next millennia. The Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets became the permanent owner of the artifact. With the construction of the Envien Congressional Assembly, the Journal was again moved. It now is kept as an important artifact in the assembly, where it is protected by Federation Congressional Police.
