The Cannikan
This fairly successful roadside inn was founded in the Middle Royal Age by a family looking to profit on those fleeing farther east from the Khabarese invasion.
Although most flying Khabar's forces settled in the new town of Treri Can, some felt the Cow Lord was incapable of protecting them, and fled further into Berleigh (Revellia) or Cantef (Ethel). Many stopped at the crossroads, where the Nightfall fed, to refresh themselves before moving on.
The tavern was named the Cannikan as a dubious homage to Treri Can. In the centuries since, it has gone through various phases of destruction in war or disrepair from poor management, but it has never suffered from a lack of business. Even now, when traffic through the crossroads is historically on the low side, business is still good.
In its various iterations, it has been called the Eastern Rabbit, Coward's Holdfast, Cautil Can, Hare's Draft, and the Quiver, but most often (and most recently) it is known as the Cannikan.
