Ice Island
A vassal island of Ethel, home to the port of Darkwoth.
Though south and west off the coast of the Revellian Promontory, Ice Island is a possession of Ethel who allegedly received it as payment for their alliance with Prince Allad Ainros during the Second Brothers Rebellion. Some say their eventually treachery against the Prince caused the isle to die and grow fallow, though most believe it had always been cold and inhospitable.
Darkwoth is the only settlement on Ice Island. The land is said to become unbearable not far south of the port, though rumors claim that strange ruins can be found in the southern half of the Island. The Snow People, whom Prince Allad conquered, are said by some to still roam these ruins, drinking the snow and eating the corpses of their families.
