Mirror Hills

A column of rolling hills near the center of Urudun, the Mirrors have served as one of three major defenses Arjhed has used against Revellian attacks from the southeast.
There are many different claims on how the Mirror Hills got their name. The most likely and obvious is the glistening, somewhat reflective quality of the grasses, from which the morning sun shines beautifully. Even more popular, however, is the theory that the last of the cickatrices were slain upon the hills by an ancient hero named Laoch Satran (Laoch Torin in some versions). Another well-worn idea, more whispered nowadays, is that the hills became a mirror reflecting the cowardice of Clan Broten, who fled Arjhed when it was first attacked during the Khabarese Crusade.
The Mirrors are divided, somewhat arbitrarily, between north and south, with the Brotens serving as the Wardens of the Southern Mirrors.
