Father to Alyssiana, who would die of Springlight Fever. Wed to Lady Fiona Elkwood, after Lady Silvia died birthing Alyssiana. Father to Carlo, who died in the Fourth Brothers Rebellion. Father to Maegan, who died in the Fourth Brothers Rebellion. Father to Kirina, who became an outlaw. Father to Anwyn, who would be wed to Lord Arvin Maraigh of Malbrand. Carn was popular in his youth, and only became more popular after his voyage to the north. He brought back wonders from Vaina and Eysland, winning him admirers in the East and allies in the West. Carn is largely credited with returning Royal Wizards to Revellia, by bringing Ermengarda of Felissar with him from Vaina. The Third Brothers Rebellion is generally agreed to have started with the death of Maitiu Beth, the Red Prince, brother to Carn and Dorreon III, and twin brother to Princess Torintha. It would end with the Twins Mock, a legendary battle between the two brothers. Carn won the contest, shattering all three of Dorreon's shields, but Dorreon broke faith and continued fighting to the death. He was slain by Sir Cullach Odon, who could not allow Prince Carn to slay his own brother.
