Father to Riisa, who was wed to Sir Coll Mourde.
Lord Cayl died fairly recently, slain during the Fourth Brothers Rebellion, yet despite this there are two contradictory myths surrounding his death. One claims he was killed by Hurik Capall, grandson of Lord Rissard Capall, whom Lord Cayl slew during the Third Brothers Rebellion. The other says he was slain by King Bethraal II himself, who was knighted by Lord Cayl between the two rebellions.
