Bahbin
How To Say "I Love You"
A Bahbin is a small cup filled with morning dew, typically prepared as an offering to a Saohri god. It is a very common offering amongst worshippers of Kirïal the Silent, and is a sign of utmost devotion. Bahbin can also be gifted to a lover, or used in magical rituals by Sabeyuns. Each dropplet is carefully picked at dawn from leaves, grass and flower petals. Some spells may call for Bahbin collected from a specific type of plant- a charm of purification might require for a cup of Bahbin collected from basil leaves.
The tradition became very popular amongst priests of Kirïal the Silent in the 3rd century A.A, with an empathis placed on the act of collecting the dropplets. During that process, priests of Kirïal would commune with their god, whispering and chanting prayers and poetry.
In the 1st century I.A, there was a ressurgance of the cult of Samara, which brough Bahbin back into popular usage. Bringing a loved one a fresh Bahbin became a sign of love, and a common gift on anniversaries celebrating love.
