Tales from Aran'sha - The embers silent glow
A word of welcome
With that being said, I will aim to give you the best stories and tales Aran'sha has to offer.
Week 1: Pledge your goal
Last year I aimed high - maybe too high and it got a bit too hot for me - however, this time I'm aiming for a nice, even 10.000 words.
Lets see how much I can manage.
The focus this year is going to be my regions - learn all about the silent sea, the eastern steppes, the thick jungles and of course the great desert.
I can't wait to tell you all more about those areas and tie everything together.
For some reason, the meta does not seem to mesh with my writing style and I should probably find an alternative to adress the things included in the WA Meta.
Week 2: Prepare Your World for New Readers
This one is perfect - I was in the process of a review anyway, so here is only some of what I found:
Ah, the great library of Al'nahar - due for a rewrite already as I mentioned. There is so much we can do with it - and I hope I can do it justice.
I only added follow buttons to my challenges so far, but I'll see if I can find a place for them in my milestone articles.
I have some subscriber groups in place already (did you know I have a Treasure hunt?) , but I have plans for a few more that could add to the interactivity of my world.
That one has to take a backseat for a bit, but I have a major CSS overhaul planned already.
Some of it you can find in the "Introduction" section already, where I added my first styled tooltips. But there's more to come: I fully plan to add borders and a few other things to the world.
Week 3 - On the Hunt for Inspiration!
Oh my, so many books to read. I have a great many books to read and never enough time. Currently I'm reading Arabian nights, Shahnameh (The book of kings) and had a run at the Dungeons and Dragons movie. I like that its pretty lighthearted as opposed to many myths I read in the two books.
I have a whole slew of inspirational pictures, mostly from pinterest and currently a middle east world travel guide. Its due for a sorting, but currently I'm looking especially at clothing.
Well, my writing playlist already is over 24 hours long, but if I find something I'll certainly add it. It's mostly arabian/mongolian background music.
Week 4 - Harness the Power of Friendship!
Well, I have kids so there is plenty of fresh air - and with the year getting colder I gotta see that I don't freeze the same way like my article header
My writing schedule currently is ..well, whenever possible. December is pretty crowded with family stuff, so I'll be happy to squeeze it in whereever it fits.
Remember what I said about company on my travels? Its Koragath again, my accountability buddy from summercamp who will help me develop my ideas and keep me company on my travels.
Adding to that will be the wonderful Discord community - the german channel with all its greatl people (special shoutout to Leijona and Blue Fairy 74 ) and the cheerful people in the challenge channel, I'd would be hard pressed to name all of the people that support and inspire me but you know who you are. If you want to see some of those who inspired me, look no farther than my sidebar.
If all of that wasn't enough, I have the Storyteller's circle for feedback and inspiration - a bunch of author's from Worldanvil who are just awesome to be around. Looking at this list, I dont think I've ever had more support for a challenge.

Amazing!
Thank you!
Sit down, my friend, and let me tell you of Aran'sha . A world where the sands shift and the stars sing, where the wind carries secrets and the twin moons keep silent vigil over it all.
