Pelagia

Written by Pookas Kreations

Pelagia is a small seasonal trader town in the fringe/frontier area on Dinoterra . This is one of the “middle of nowhere” areas on this continent. Of course most of Dinoterra would be considered wilderness areas on other continents.

There is only four large cities, various small villages, towns or family homesteads/farms. Citizens here prefer to live in small towns and close knit villages.

Demographics

The people that live here are the ones that don’t fit in anywhere else on Dinoterra. Either ones that can’t follow the rules that other Dinoterrans do or ones that rebel against it.

Government

The [Human, Fringer  are anarchists in the true sense of the world. They follow their own rules, or at least ones that they agree on. Whoever controls certain areas (towns) make the rules. Those that don’t like those rules leave to find somewhere they do agree with or make their own.

Defences

Pelagia has a stockade like wall around the camp areas a few catapults and ballista. These defenses are to protect them from the large carnivores like T-Rex.

Industry & Trade

They trade almost anything that is of use. Whether its furs, cloth, metal, machinery parts, or food.

Infrastructure

This settlement is not much more than a seasonal trading town. Few people actually live here full time. There are only a few permanent structures, and areas for large tents, lean-tos, etc.

History

This area began as a rendezvous site, for people to just come, set up tents to trade, have contests and party. This is still what happens here, but more often and with more protection.

Architecture

There are only rough frontier like structures here, the only ones that survive were built better than others.

Geography

This area has heavy forests and jungles, with hoot hills and mountains to the west, desert to the east, heavy mountains to the south and jungle and beach to the north.

Natural Resources

They have natural resources in plenty. From food to metals.
