Crescent Chasm

This Chasm is shaped like a crescent moon. It is inhabited by many types of aerial species. Parts of the Canyon are also terraced to allow other creatures places to live, farm, and for paths to reach the bottom. The north of the crescent is the ancient entrance to the Land Beneath. The guardians only let those enter who they consider worthy to travel to the hallowed grounds of their ancestors.

Geography

Crescent Chasm is in the western part of the continent of Dinoterra. It is an enormous canyon that stretches almost from the southern to the northern shores. Canyon City is located on the eastern wall of the canyon. It is the main city in the western part of Dinoterra. The terrain around the canyon is forested mountains, with various types of deciduous trees prevailing. It is often cool and dry and rarely hot.
