Eione
The underwater polis of Eione prides itself on being the gods’ favorite. Whether this is true or not, the city still holds quite a bit of history. Before Minthe was discovered, Eione was thought to be one of the earliest nations built outside Archon rule. The start of the "After Known Dominion" (AKD) even began with Eione's founding. Eione has as many allies as they do enemies, but their size and power makes them a force to be reckoned with.

Overview
Structure of Society. The cult of nobility runs strong in Eione, and the higher social stratum possesses more privilege here than in any nearby nation. Great differences in wealth exist among the gentry, but Eionian law cares for birth not property, making a well-born beggar the legal equal of the richest magnate. Those not fortunate enough to be born with money are often encouraged to pursue art and education, as many of the nobles are known to be patrons of the art. Military/Intelligence. The Eionian military are masters of sea combat. They've learned a lot from their last battle with Arethusa, and have used it as an opportunity to build bigger and better than ever before. The lower class who wish to raise their status, but with no interest in art, often join the military. Because of this, their military is the second largest in all of Aeziron. Some brigades and troops are even known for their use of aquatic creatures as mounts, making them even deadlier to face in combat. Not much is known about Eione's intelligence, but rumors have recently surfaced about nobles turning artists into their personal spies. Economy/Trade. Eione has a wide variety of profitable exports, most of which depend on other cities in their territory. Lyria is home to many farms, Halimede attracts a great number of tourists each year, and so on.History
Liberation of Mankind (5 BKD). Eione was once nothing more than training grounds for the Traxian Military. The sea elves living here were treated cruelly, and were often left with no other choice than to join Agnomahkos' army. Arabel and Finlay Leventis, two siblings subjugated to Archon's mistreatment, would soon decide to take matters into their own hands. With the guidance and blessing of Ephara and Thassa, they rallied other sea elves. They managed to seek out and kill Agnomahkos in the polis of Arethusa, which would result in the empire's demise. Eione's Founding (1 AKD). With no more archons to deal with, the siblings established the first nation and polis outside Traxian rule known as Eione. With the further help of Ephara, laws and cities were established. King Finlay Leventis stayed in the polis, becoming Eione’s first king. Archmage Arabel Leventis would spend her time establishing schools across the kingdom. The Eionian War (305-308 AKD). Arethusa's sudden resurgence in 304 AKD brought paranoia and fear among the sea elves, some of which were still alive during the Archon's reign. After a few failed attempts to talk, King Finlay demanded war. In the end this war would cost them many soliders, as well as the rebellion of Galene and their neighboring isles. When Arabel mysteriously dissapeared, it left Finlay distraught, and he finally decided to end the war. King Calyx's Reign (562 AKD). After the deaths of King Finlay and Queen Arina, they left the kingdoms in the hands of his son, King Calyx. A Queen's Curse (620 AKD). Just a couple of months ago, King Calyx announced a curse that overtook with wife. The beloved Queen Cassia has fallen ill, and has been asleep for half a year. He's callen on knights and adventurers to find him a cure, promising grand rewards to whoever is succesful.General Information
