Cunaris

Cunaris is a large city of more than 30.000 people. It is the hereditary seat of the Dukes of Ciello. The city was founded by the Imperium and was their main stronghold on the island. Today the island is a major trade port.

History

The city is surrounded by the Sybillan walls, erected by duchess Sybil Ella Lisadora Belaroth in the 8th century.

Points of interest

The Castle Treori is the seat of the duke. It is well known for its three distinctive "old towers". The inner part of the castle is a Barrier Fortress, dating back to the Imperium. While the outer portions are more modern. 
The temple of Sol is the tallest building in the city. Its spire is three feet taller than the higest of the castle towers. An eternal fire burns at its tip.
