~Once, there was a young child. The child always looked up to their brother, and wanted to be just like him.~
After our confrontation, Saib did not speak to me for a week. Understandable, but his actions against Arthom were unwarranted. However, I received a letter to meet with him again at a new hideout in the Moonstone district.
“I told you that you could not trust your allies. Look where this has gotten you”
Turns out he had invited all of the Misfits, bar Arthom and Gurval, to show us some information on a Triad stronghold. He claimed that there was something interesting in a “red room” underneath that would likely either help us or destabilise the Triad. He also introduced us to his new crew;
Ahmed - a brutish ox of a Solen, with more muscle than brain
Torrek - an arsonist that clearly burned half his mind away
Shalza - Saibs new second in command, quiet but composed
Bravu- Green Solen that copies me. Shot Arthom and framed me implicitly.
“Look how quickly he replaced you, child.”
Together, we Misfits devised a plan, that quickly went awry. Myself and Ko would sneak in from the roof, only to be spotted by the Triads leader (Yifengs uncle). While Ko was frozen by some spell of his, I aimed an arrow at his head, only for an explosion of sewage to flood the room and take the Triad with it. Somehow, Talu and Lucid had managed to find a Nusaru, Mogg, and crash through the floor and flood the hideout.
As they sailed across the base, we found the Red Room we were looking for. Inside, we found power sapping crystals that we promptly broke, and several slaves kept in cages. Most horrifying, half of them were children.
We rescued them, including a Rojikan girl that seemed to take me as a savour. Returning back to the base, we wrestled with what we found, including new information - that the Triad planned to destroy the other gangs and rule Zyniii. This cannot happen.
“Zyniii is beneath our notice, child. We must aim higher”
Who knew Kah could be this fucking annoying?
