Terrible Days

It started one morning when we awoke to mournful cries. A dozen or so babies had all been slain. They were found with their hearts ripped out of their chests. An unthinkable heartbreak for those families. Abby, of course, prayed for all of em, and I joined in the best I could.
We were attacked by a phase spider, and the next day we woke up to being attacked by a giant toad.
A few days later we reached, Hastlecross, a Halfling town. Half of their town got burned down in the night.
Later, the guide appeared and spoke privately to Rankle. Rankle freaked out an made us leave the town.
Turns out we are entering a second Faybleed.
In Ashendisa, all of the milk was curdled.
A buncha Eladrin and Archfey appeared and demanded Rankle return with them to the Summer Court. I got to say a quick goodbye to him. I took the hair he had gathered and told him I'd keep my promise to help him help his friend. Does that make me the new Midnight Barber? Well, before Rankle could even say goodbye to the others, The Eladrin said Rankle would never be back, and they all vanished. Including Rankle. I'll never forget that little guy, or the promise I made him. The party will never be the same and I think we're all a little heartbroken.
