Eventually we ended up at Phase Spider's Venom. The barkeep looked at my crest and told me I should leave. I said I would, except we had a few questions first. Next thing I knew we were fighting. Abby went down for a second. Someone, maybe Arc, got him up again but I was already furious, scared, and desperate to not lose my friend. Somehow, I summoned an etheral white stag and it started healing Abby. I didn't even know I could do that. Pretty cool. I still had energy so then I attacked the leader for attacking Abby. We got the leader knocked out and everyone else was either dead or ran off. We ended up finding a LuckBlade short sword and bracers of defense for Mavinda, and a ring of protection for Rerae. We also found a fancy hand crossbow that we'll sell, and some gold for the group funds.
Mavinda questioned the leader and I cast some magic on him so he wouldn't be able to lie. He still tried lying, but I heard the truth in his thoughts.
-We found out that Iskrin is actually a female named, "Nirksi."
-Downstairs there is a safe house and a journal
-There is security downstairs in the forms of a rug and some traps.
-I asked how to get past those things so now I know all the triggers.
Once we eased past the traps and the man eating carpet, we easily found the journal, which turned out to be magic! In a chest, we found 500 platinum which we split amongst us and have two left over for the party fund.
