When we arrived back at Twin River we made for the Dusky Fawn as we were going to be staying there. The Frowning Boar seemed to be where all of the festivities were due to happen that night so it was understandably packed. Once the way back to the Dusky Fawn we stopped by Clarebold's Greatsword so Chael could pick up some new armor he had ordered.
 
We conferred with Harper, as this was his family and his sister, as to what he wanted to do and how he wanted to proceed with this. Harper was planning to visit his sister at the reception to see if this was what she really wanted. He wanted to know this was all due to his sister Chant's choice, and isn't being done against her will. I recall he had mentioned before that he fled when he was due to marry a daughter of the Stagdews, so I wonder if this was arranged by his family as a result. I worry that he feels he's responsible for this.
 
Eventually we headed to the reception. The idea was to ask around and probe for information, and possibly determine the whereabouts of Chant so Harper could speak with her. He had used a spell to disguise himself so as to not draw attention to himself. However, after talking with a particularly affluent man, another man had asked me to hold a small plate of sorts which looked to hold some sort of food. I agreed to help, and while I waited for his return all manner of people came up to me to take the food from me, which was strange. After the plate was empty another man came up and asked why I wasn't in my uniform, and I was ushered into the back where I was asked to change into some formal attire and go back out with more plates.
 
It all happened so fast I'm not really sure what happened, but at the end of the night I had no information to show for it, but I did get this uniform and a small amount of money...
 
By the time I got back to the Dusky Fawn everyone else had already arrived back. We chatted a bit with Harper talking about his sisters' situation. It sounds like he wasn't able to talk with Chant herself, but instead spoke with Tambourine, his younger sister. The wedding seems to be in a few days time.
 
Harper seems conflicted. I wish I could help more, but this is ultimately his family matters.
