Thankfully today was lovely, absolutely great weather for travel.

On the road, we found another Rasp statue, and each left an offering, although for some reason we felt a bit strange afterwards that time.

We arrived in Telton later in the day, and Velvet finds a wanted poster with Ashton's face on it, saying
"Wanted Maimed but alive

Ashton Anchors

for the theft of Dowry and the abandonment of marital duty
Reward 100 gold pieces"

Ashton insists that he didn't steal a dowry and that he got cold feet and didn't want to get married. Before we go into town Harper and I team up to disguise him to look like a half orc. Ashton's betrothed was a woman named Elara, apparently. Ashton isn't sure if the bounty is coming from his family or the bride's family. Everyone wound up splitting up to do their own investigation. The bounty is supposed to be paid out by the Thornfields, which seems to be another major farming family in Telton.

I wound up bunking with Ashton for the night. Writing this as he is snoring. Loudly. Not sure if from nerves from everything going on or just exhausted.
