Music, and noise in general, is a big part of how I set a mood when I'm writing, doing game prep, and running the game itself. I have YouTube playlists I play in the background to set the tone for scenes, ranging from creepy, to peaceful, to aggressive depending on the need. As always, individual planets might have more specific inspirations.  

When Writing

If I can score a solid 2 hours of dedicated writing time, this video is the best. I usually dedicate each sprint to a different aspect of article writing, such as outlining, writing, formatting, and designing.
