Imagery

Perhaps because my background is in writing, and not any type of visual art, images don't tend to be a source of inspiration. More often, it goes the other way around: I have ideas, then stumble upon images that remind me of it. To help instill the right emotions in my readers and players, I take a lesson from James D’Amato: I start from my major themes and come up with scenes that help convey them. Ideally, these scenes are more than just visual.
