The Junction is a typical world of high fantasy and magic. Known as Midland by its population, the world is home to sprawling continents and a multitude of nations of varying levels of social and technological advancement.
The central continent is home to the powerful nation of Rotterdam. It is the driver behind secret experiments which have been combining high level technologic and magic which threaten the realm's known limits of reality.
Secretive Elites
Rotterdam was home to the former site of Zikrieg Academy, and is the suspected seat of power of the powerful cabal of elite puppet masters known as the ALUMN. The ALUMN have been destabilizing the faraway nation of Hindland, a backwards country largely stuck in the trappings of medieval civilization. The nation sits on a mysterious supernatural resource which is emerging as a high stakes conflict with far ranging consequences.Midland
