Arthur Ains
(a.k.a. Arthur Aint)
Arthur Ains was a human anarchist. He was a Twilight cleric who later converted to the Order of the Staircase.
As a member of the Free Peoples of True Hindland he was tasked with protecting the newly discovered heir to the throne.
During this mission he demolished a peaceful monastery known as the Sect of Blissful Genocide.

He later fled the country and spent time in Rotterdam, converting to the Order of the Staircase. After this he spent time in the island nation of Kalador.
Three years after the events at Holy Hill, Arthur returned to Hindland as a hired mercenary, under the alias "Arthur Aint."
His mercenary team was tasked with unifying the nation of Hindland, and investigating the ongoings of Holy Hill.
After the Defiling of Holy Hill, Arthur was instrumental in helping his compatriot, Yewthinca, lay claim to the throne of Hindland under the ruse that she was the daughter of King MaxMarcus VI.

Arthur traveled to the Isle of Bliss and Genocide, which he discovered to be the lair of a demilich known as D.L. There he uncovered the prophecy of genocide related to the gnolls, and witnessed the opening of the the Scroll of Genocide, which would mean the destruction of all gnolls in the realm in one year's time.
