Two-Tale Isle is an island in the Kenharrdt River within Kingdom Roln territory. It is owned by two brothers, Bidder and Ornin. It is a vital stopping ground for ships traveling along the river, as they had just passed the waters of the Haunted Edges where they cannot stop.
Geography and Environment
Two-Tale Isle is a sleek and long island that is sandwhiched between the Kenhardt River. It is separated by a large wall down the middle to mark each end of the brother's property. The east side, owned by Ornin, is far more barren and developed than the eastern side, owned by Bidder. Bidder's west side has much more exotic fauna not found in the rest of the land. It is nearly jungle-like, with the only infrastructure being the road and Bidder's residence.
History
The island was founded sometime during the late second era by the family known as the Grivers. The island was a popular tourist attraction because it was home to the Faunci Tree- a special tree that can only be grown by special seeds that can only grow on the soil of the island. This is due to there being an ancient nature spirit on the island that has entrusted it after the first Griver gaining favor with it. Overtime, the spirit would grow weary and dissapear into the land itself, after asking the Grivers to promise to protect it from all harm.
At the time of the fourth era, in 8000 4E, the island was given to the sons of the late Henreis Griver, Bidder and Ornin Griver. Upon the passing of their father, they were both approached by merchant lords from the neighboring kingdoms that had their ships sailing down the Kenhardt River, and promised them large sums of gold if they transformed their island into a place for their sailors to rest. Ornin would instantly agree, while Bidder would not. Ornin would begin to chop away at the wildlife on the island to make room and gain resources to build the infrastructure, harming the nature spirit, while Bidder remained faithful to the nature spirit, seeing it as the reason for the family's fortune and favor. A wall would be built along the middle of the island to separate both sides. Ornin now searches for a way to get the deed of the west side of the island so he may reap the full benefits of his deal.
