The Thornwood Estate

The Thornwood family live in their large stately home on a thousand acre estate found at the centre of The Eden Quarter of Vyrvania. The home and grounds look 'olde worlde' but the perimeter of the estate is highly secured and protected from the outside world by top-notch technology and about fifty security officers. Garrick Thornwood had the current house built around the 17th century. It has over a hundred rooms, a large conservatory, stables, a walled garden, several areas of landscaped gardens, a lake, it's own woods and the rest of the grounds are managed countryside.
Each member of the family has designed rooms and areas of the home and estate to suit their interests.

You will most often find Garrick in his office as he oversees the smooth running of Vyrvania.

In his occasional leisure time he will retreat to his library which houses more than a million books. These include some extremely rare books that date back to the dawn of writing.

Serafina

Serafina has been cultivating rare and exotic flowers for as long as she can remember and she even has some ancient plants that were thought to be extinct.

Her love of the arts means you will often find her painting or drawing in her creative studio when she is not following her other artistic passion of acting.
Although since her death her studio has been left to gather dust. Luckily her daughter Serena loves the natural world so has done her best to continue looking after her Mother's flora.

Ed

Ed is keen on sport to destress from his job managing The Techno Quarter. He has his own personal gym and squash court as well as the large grounds of the estate to go for a long run.

Joseph

Joseph Thornwood no longer resides at the family home. Since his mother's death, apart from Serena, the rest of the family are relieved he doesn't stay there due to their strained relationships with him.

Michelle

Michelle's life is all about appearances so when at home she surrounds herself with beautiful things and keeps herself in shape with yoga.

Serena

Serena is all about the horses. She manages the family stables, is an expert rider and talented horse whisperer. She also trains the horses that are used by the military guards.
