Here you will find The Banished, the Half-Blood Shifters and the Revenants, all the rejects of the city of Vyrvania. The Underworld is ruled by Cassius Roman and The Shadow Syndicate. Cassius Roman was banished from Vyrvania centuries ago and no-one knows why. He retreated to The Underworld, which at the time was just a mining area. This area became disused when technology took over from the use of the ore found in the mines. As time passed Cassius connected with 12 other banished Vampyr and formed The Shadow Syndicate. They took control of The Underworld and offered the Shifters and Revenants a home in return for the use of their magic and services.

This is The Shadow Syndicates base of operations. They run The Underworld from here, making sure all those who have taken refuge here have their basic needs met i.e. sustenance, habitation. Vices are also taken care of to keep all these loose cannons under control and happy to offer their unique services in return. The Shadow Syndicate also plan all missions here before passing them to the leaders at The Shadow Academy who will then designate them to the recruits who fit the profile of each mission.

At the Shadow Academy, those that want to make their mark sign up to Boot Camp. If they pass this they train as Shadow Recruits to become Shadow Warriors. This is an intensive 6-month course where the recruits learn stealth techniques, martial arts, self-restraint, solutionist skills and how to hone and control their own unique powers and skills.
Once they have passed their intensive training they will then become part of a small unit of warriors with a leader. The Shadow Secretary then chooses them suitable missions which they work together to complete. These missions can be as simple as hijacking goods and resources to as dangerous and complex as dispatching a heavily guarded noble vampyr.
