Lead District
Created to be Wholstad's Military Home, this District is exclusively occupied by those on Military Payroll. The District itself can be split into 2 parts; The Copper Villa and The Barrel Way.
All the Military Operations, Planning and Organisation are performed from here and distributed as orders for personnel.
The Lead District is typically only occupied by those in the Employ of the Leadcoats. Those who are blatantly not apart of the organisation may be arrested on sight, unless supervised by someone of appropriate authority.
Government
This District is ran by General Lassie Somme, with light involvement from Wholstad's Broader Goverment.
Most people in this district follow the chain of command and will listen to those of higher rank without question.
Districts
The Copper Villa
Comprising the open parts of the District, this Villa is made for the use of off-duty soldiers with free time. This Villa contains Stores, Bars, Taverns, Hotel's, Restaurants, a Brothel and a Library. The Villa was constructed in 1937 when the complaints about Drunken Soldiers behaviour on the streets became too much to bare. The Villa is designed to hold everything the soldiers would usually desire while in service and leaving it's premises results in punishment.
The Barrel Way
A series of layered Tunnels and rooms that branch and sprawl out from one anouther. This area is submerged into the City's Walls and extends beneath the Villa, it's technically a part of The Bowels but isn't phsyically connected. This is the main area of Operation within the Lead District, it is where you will find Command and On-Duty Soldiers. The Barrel Way contains all the things needed to run an Army like The Leadcoats.
Points of interest
Record Hall
On first impression, one may assume that Stitches do not care for History or writing things down. When entering the Record Hall, they realise how mistaken they are. The Record Hall is comprised of a large "Record Keepers" room in it's centre, with a few dozen desks are arranged in a grid, and several "keeping rooms" surrounding this central area. The keeping rooms contain many organised files that need to be kept on hand and could be needed at a moments notice. Beneath the keeping rooms is the "long term storage", a loosely organised warehouse filled with nearly 300 years of military records.
Barrack Rooms
When on duty, soldiers are expected to stay on base at all times, this is where they sleep. There are 3 types of Barrack rooms: Communal (where many men sleep), Medical (isolated rooms for those who are recovering from an injury or illness) & Private rooms (for singular people, typically women, high ranking officers, guests or those who have earned merit.
The Hangar Bay
A (sometimes) open hangar bay. This is where the Vehicles are Maintained and Repaired when not in use. This is also where Artillery Squads practice their aim.
Armament Closet
This is where all the Guns, Ammo and Armour is kept. The Squad in charge of this is sometimes called "The Haberdashers" by other Squads. In an Official Context, this name is frowned upon by Higher-Ups and The Haberdashers. Unofficial context however, is very different.
Architecture
The buildings in the Villa are constructed to appear like the rest of Wholstad but lack any distinct names, such as "The Rotten Apple Tavern" merely being called "Tavern".
Rooms in the Barrel Way are simple and militaristic, they lack sunlight and are filled with artificial light. No effort has been made to disguise the wires and pipes of the district's inner workings from passer-bys. There is little to no wood or stone in the construction of the Barrel Way, rubber, metal and glass is used instead.
