Most young men Join the Leadcoats for the minimum service time of 4 years. The earliest elistment age is 16.

The Stitches as a Society share a unified belief. The Belief of "Forgiveness Is Only For Those Who Die Fighting". This comes to a head with the Leadcoats.
Support for Vetran Soldiers has fallen by the way side in recent years & the Stigma aimed at these older gentlemen and ladies has lead to an "Out of Sight, Out of Mind Mentality'. Where these Vetrans are commonly hidden away and Ignored.
Structure
Follows a Structure based around Specialised Collections of Units and various branches.
Promotions follow various different tree's, some trees are explored more than others. Most Captains do not go father than E3 due to an increase in problems but not an incease in pay, instead becoming comanders or support officers.
Culture
Very Strict and Regimented, like most of Stitches society. Occasionally the inherent goofiness of Stitches Leaks through.
Belief that Forgiveness can only be granted from dying fighting is core to the military culture of The Leadcoats.
Leadcoats believe that the greatest honour that one can be granted is to be forgotten and therefor forgiven. Like with the gravestones of most Stitches, the gravestones of Soldiers do not bear any names or signs of identity.
The Trenchmans Creed reads as such and can be considers a Microcosumn of the Leadcoat Culture. It reads as such:
Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die.
The Trenchmans Creed is treated as a combination of A Prayer, A Funeral Right, A Dirge for The Dead and More.
