The two sister-gods, Vaka and Mystra, come across the barren world of Valakadyn and choose to give it life.
As the Two Sisters entered the World of Valakadyn, the ground rose up to meet them.
The gods grew tired of their lifeless world, and chose to bequeath some of their energy unto it. Thus, the world was populated with the various plants and animals, with Vaka creating the animals and Mystra choosing the forms of the plants.
Vaka and Mystra, seeking to share their world with other sentient beings, each created ten figures in their own image. The gods were born.
Vaka, after years of observing Mortalkind, has grown to love her childrens creations. The Mortals fascinated her, and she frequently helped them erect their cities and build bridges (both literally and figuratively). She grew close with a group of Mortals known as the Oracular Order; worshippers of the Creators and servants of the people. She decided to bless the Oracles as she had blessed the gods, giving them eternal life and unmatched power over an aspect of reality. The Oracles swore an oath to protect Mortality at all costs, and intensely studied their respective crafts.
Together, the Oracles traveled and mastered their elements, before returning to their creator and mentor. Together with Vaka, they used their combined knowledge and power to create the first great city, Newbiggin, as a haven for all of mortalkind. And at the center of the city: a massive library filled with all of the knowledge of the Oracles, open to all.
The Betrayer Gods, resenting the power granted to the Oracles by Vaka, attempt to siphon the power from Lilith, First Oracle of Flame. This results in her death, the creation of Eldhress, and the beginning of a war in her name.
The Creators, led by Odin and joined by several Oracles, fought the Betrayers, led by Njord. Their battle resulted in the partial destruction of the continent of Sandalphor, as well as the death of Radahn, The Starscourge, First Oracle of Gravity. This desecration created the Sundered Isles of Sandalphor that now dot the Great Ocean between Sandalphor, Adar, and Karavala.
Vaka, sensing her impending doom, split fractions of her soul into nine magical items and bestowed them upon her most trusted Oracles with the instruction to only unite them together if the time is right, and to protect mortalkind.
The Creator Goddess Vaka is killed by the Betrayer Gods in the deserts of Adar. The resulting explosion killed the god Surtr, The Everburning and created the mesa now known as Redgarden
Josephine Silverhand, First Oracle of Nature uses the full moon of Alecto and the power of the Staff of Vaka to restore the plant life of the world by creating the Root of All Trees. Her many descendants would come to call the great tree their home, creating the city of Nimloth in it's hollow.
Thrivas Foxgard, FIfth Oracle of Battle, uses the Exalted power of the Belt of Vaka . In a moment of desperation, he created a dark mountain that rose out of the ground. As he stands at the foot, he claps his hands together and the mountain cracks open, revealing an entire city magically carved into the underside of the massive structure.
Threaven Wranris, The Oracle of Life and Stevanas Hareth, The Mad Oracle of Lore worked together by using the area's natural magical energy, and created the Great Golden Bridge of Xemelgor.
Stevanas Hareth, The Mad Oracle of Lore, vanishes in an experiment gone wrong. His Oracular abilities pass to a young Loxodon in the city of Redgarden, Yarmin Smalltooth, Second Oracle of Lore. The resulting magical explosion destroyed a quarter of the city, now deemed The Broken Quarter, and left an impenetrable barrier around The Osmium Tower, where Stevanas had worked. Around a year after the explosion, strange pink trees began to grow all around the affected area, creating a mythical forest in the middle of the city.
The nations of Gleyari and Brecht fought to defend their land from the Karavala Sovereignty. The Karavala's wanted to capture Nimloth and Newbiggin in order to cement their hold over the continent. Resulted in numerous wild magic events, including the formation of Græna, Aetheria's Ascension, and Scouring of The Sacred Forest. Ultimately ended in the devastating battle known as Sunfall.
In order to escape being ravaged by the Karavala Sovereignty, Aera Windfeather, Eighth Oracle of the Wind, uses the power of the Shroud of Vaka to create a floating city by ripping a small mountain out of the earth and encasing himself within it, creating the land of Aetheria. His Oracular abilities pass to his daughter, Ikki Windfeather, Ninth Oracle of the Wind.
Óðr, Sunscourge infiltrates Nimloth with the help of Myrthos Karavala, Fourth Oracle of Gravity, stealing the Staff of Vaka from the Heart Chamber and using it's power to light the great tree ablaze and destroy much of the surrounding wilderness.
The greatest battle of the Age of Mortality. Ikki Windfeather unites five Oracles in order to defeat the leaders of the Karavala Sovereignty that have been conquering and destroying the continent of Gleyari. Lasting nearly three days, the battle ultimately ends when Toshinori Yagi, Seventh Oracle of Peace sacrifices himself in a magical blast that destroys the Karavalas and Odr, wounds Sif, and sends Njord, the leader of the Betrayers, back to his domain in Sandalphor.
Grisha Bloodflayer, Tenth Oracle of the Waves, Dread Queen of Sandalphor and Conqueror of the Sundered Isles sacrifices herself along with her partner Maryweather Jones to seal away Njord, Arbiter of the Deep using the power of the Bracers of Vaka, creating the Eye of Divellia in the process.
Penelope Octavia Marcella Emeline Rose is born to harengon and elf parents in the small village of Atheross, southwest of Nimloth, now known as Abysswalker's Rise.
Penelope becomes the Ninth Oracle of Peace and leaves Newbiggin and Molina behind.
Rebels, led by Kaleo Aulani, Sixth Oracle of the Dark and Djin Aster, Second Oracle of the Heavens and joined by Penelope Rose, Ninth Oracle of Peace, fight against King Bertrand Dwendal of Apollyon. During the conflict, Kal, Djin, and Penelope become legendary in their exploits against the King, eventually defeating the Mad King in his own castle. Klein Orsini fought on the side of the king, and watched his entire battalion get slaughtered by rebels; he survived only because he made a dark pact with the Dread Lord himself. Clad, a traveling swordsman, came to hear of the plight of the rebels and lent them his blade. His rival, Commander of the King's Army Thordak Cinder, defeated him in combat moments before the Oracle of the Dark secured victory by killing the Mad King and taking the Crown of Vaka for himself. Ultimately defeated, Thordak ran before Clad could exact his vengeance.
